Hi my name is Russell Smith, aka "Rusty the Locksmith".
I have been locksmithing in Auckland for 38 years.
1986- An Apprenticeship With Chubb Locksmiths.
1988 - 2001 Working for Dad at Smiths Locksmiths.
2001-2005 Working for Accurate Locksmiths
2005-2022 I started Genesis Locksmiths enjoyed living, loving and growing in Ponsonby with my Family.
In 2021 I bought Smiths Locksmiths from my Father, making me the 6th Generation owning and running the Family business, which brings us to now...
It has been quite the journey and 3 years into Smiths, it is now a very successful venture.
I have realised my dream vocation in my favourite community which equals "Happiness!"
And the icing on the cake is my Daughter Zared has started her own Key Cutting business from home making her the 7th generation cutting keys in the family at-
